If the Disney Channel was part of your childhood in the 2000s, you&rsquo;ll remember High School Musical 2&rsquo;s iconic &ldquo;Bet On It&rdquo; by Zac Efron as he dances across a golf course, or the whole cast&rsquo;s performance of &ldquo;All For One&rdquo; in and around an outdoor pool. And if you&rsquo;ve seen the photos of our hotel, you might recognize that it was the very setting for the movie!
Known to most as &ldquo;Lava Springs Country Club&rdquo;, our very own Inn at Entrada hosted the stars of High School Musical 2 in 2007. Our property in St. George, UT, caught the eye of director Kenny Ortega because of the surrounding rich, red landscape and upscale resort vibe. Zac Efron&rsquo;s &ldquo;Bet On It&rdquo; gives a perfect tour of our award-winning Snow Canyon Golf Course with its impressive greens, immaculate fairways, and picturesque views of the rolling red hills in the distance. Even parts of the interior served as backdrops for Troy and Gabriela&rsquo;s romantic musical number.
It&rsquo;s not uncommon for nostalgic fans to book a stay to experience stepping onto the same greens as Troy or go swimming in the same outdoor pool as Sharpay and her crew.

<h3>Has the property changed since the film?</h3>
It may not be obvious at first glance, but the &ldquo;Lava Springs Country Club&rdquo; has undergone a $7 million renovation project by golf designer David McLay Kidd in 2022. Although not a total reconstruction, a large part of this 18-month project focused on improving the golf experience and creating new ways a golfer can play and score. Some of these enhancements include irrigation and drainage replacements, redesign and resurfacing of the greens, recontouring of the fairways, and a re-grassing of the entire course.
