Hiking

Sand Dunes Trail – Located in the heart of the park, this trail is home to hundreds of reptiles and small animals that sprawl all across the dunes. This trail is an easy and beautiful one-half-mile walk, surrounded by small deep sand hills.

The Butterfly Trail – A Gorgeous trail that winds along the petrified dunes, and leads to the West Canyon Overlook and lava tubes.

Sights

Snow Canyon Drive – A two-lane road that winds through the park and delights visitors with incredible panoramic views of the park.

White Rocks Amphitheatre – You won’t find any of the ubiquitous red sandstone in this part of the park! A short, easy trail, the White Rocks Amphitheater is a bowl-like amphitheatre formed by white Navajo sandstone located at the north end of the park.

1) Head east on W Sinagua Trail toward Entrada Trail
2) Turn left on Entrada Trail
3) Turn left on North Snow Canyon Pkwy and drive 3.9 miles
4) Turn right on Snow Canyon Drive and drive 1.1 miles to the entrance of South Snow Canyon Park Entrance
